How it works 
An ask, in four steps

Write the question
100 characters at most. It is a question, not a post — the limit is what keeps asks answerable. Add photos if you like.
- 02
Drop it on the map
The app suggests where you are, but you can tap anywhere. You do not have to give away your exact location.
- 03
Choose who sees it
Everyone, only your followers, or only the people you follow. You set the distance too — a radius in kilometres.
- 04
Get answers before it expires
An ask stays up for 24 hours, or 7 days with AskAll+. When the countdown ends it closes to new answers.
The difference
Your question has a deadline
On forums and in search results the answer arrives years later, long after the question stopped mattering. On AskAll every ask counts down — answers come while they are still useful.
- Reply to an answer with an @mention, like it; the most-liked answer gets a star.

Travel mode is the headline of an AskAll+ membership: pick a city and the app behaves as if you were there. You see that city’s asks, and post your own, before you arrive.
Tokens refill every week, and extra tokens can be bought. The subscription price is shown in the app, in your store’s currency.

Privacy
Nobody sees your number. Nobody needs your exact spot.
Your phone number is not shown
You sign in with your phone number and an SMS code. Your number is never shown to other users anywhere in the app.
Your location is your choice
Place your ask anywhere on the map. You are never required to reveal exactly where you are.
No ads, no trackers
There is no advertising in the app, and no third-party ad network or analytics tracker.
The controls are yours
Make your account private, approve follow requests, block, report, and switch notifications off one category at a time.
Safety
Zero tolerance for objectionable content
Every ask, answer, reply, message and profile can be reported. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours; content that breaks the rules is removed and the account can be suspended. You can block anyone — blocking cuts the relationship in both directions.
